I really appreciate that Nick Cousins stepped up in a big way during the last playoffs when the team was suffering from a lot of injuries and played pretty well, scored some big goals.
But he's been a huge liability for this team this season, and I'm not real hyped up to see him back in the lineup.

Pens roster reminds of of the Cats in "06 and '07, would be an unbelievable team 10 years earlier. This has to be the oldest NHL team ever assembled? They traded for Reilly Smith and it caused their team age to go down lol.

Crazy that we have double the PIM of PIT. Are they so soft or we so tough or the refs just hate us? I'd say the latter
prob from that ottawa game where we had like 200PIM since everyone and their dads got 10 min

It's definitely both.
Pitt is pretty soft relying on their age and skill.
But I think after Nick Cousins crap the NHL and refs just said

I think he's a valuable playoff assèt , especially the way this team plays.
i blame barkov, takin too many penalties and is a bad influence on nick cousins

He's at 18 PIMs right now, tied for his most in a single season..two other years he's had the same amount.
Kind of crazy to think he's never cracked 20 PIMs before and it looks like he's on pace to shatter his career high in hits.
