Change your luck...Looking forward to going to this game, but I’m sure that means we lose. Sorry everyone.
There are plenty of us who don't give a shit about the basketball game, trust meIll probably be watching this one as I don’t know that I can take that semi finals game. It’ll probably be a pretty sorry crowd too.
Ehh seeing the crowds on other Duke vs Unc game nights, doesn’t give me a good feeling it will be more than half full / empty. There are plenty of us who don't give a shit about the basketball game, trust me
Honestly for me it would be no contest but I'm not a basketball fan. Woth that being said its really a tough draw for the Canes. One the one hand you have 2 playoff teams on a Saturday night, however both have all but clinched. Maybe this would garner more interest if there were any real stakes on it but let's face it, there just not a lot to play for right now beside being ready for the playoffs and not getting hurt.Ehh seeing the crowds on other Duke vs Unc game nights, doesn’t give me a good feeling it will be more than half full / empty.

Win pls.
Thx in advance.
First NBA game I ever went to was a Bulls game on a band trip in high school. I didn't care about the NBA, so a friend and I snuck to a restaurant or some such on the concourse and watched Duke make a huge comeback against Maryland in the Final Four. It was a lot of fun.If anything, this is a great night to go to the Canes game. People are going to be watching the other game on their phones, crowding around the concourse TVs, and in all likelihood they show the score on the scoreboard from time to time. Meanwhile there’s a meaningful NHL game going on between two good teams.
You’re basically in the biggest sports bar in the Triangle.
2001 right? I remember Shane Battier throwing a drink cup in disgust during a timeout. Crazy enough Duke had a comeback against Maryland in their building I think that very year. Like 10 points in a minute or something.First NBA game I ever went to was a Bulls game on a band trip in high school. Haha I remember getting my sports scores the next morning on the ticker as well. Those were the times.I was a big Duke fan back then (junior year of college). I remember watching most of that game and angrily turning it off with 2 mins left and going to bed. I also remember the delight and feeling of disgust that I missed the comeback, while watching the ESPN score-ticket that next morning.
