Now we have MDG on waivers when he might get lost for nothing considering this trade.

Carrier was a 2nd pairing guy for us for quite a number of seasons.

If you can staple him to a defensive LHD, hopefully with a bit of size, he should be ok. He's a bit on the smaller side and in our current system was allowed to roam the ice without a care in the world. (Not him, I don't think. Our idiotic system.)

On behalf of the fanbase after multiple players signed since March then lost in the last nine months ... Fabbro, Wedgewood, Carrier, Tomasino ... this flag from the Patton museum now applies.

At least last place isn't the "mushy middle".
