Hamilton has been fine individually.
They/we were expecting a top 20 dman, so it blows that he's now the odd man out. He certainly hasnt been that. But having a guy like hamilton/pesce on the 3rd pair is why a guy one bad month from a khl contract is now our perfectly competent #1 goalie.
If someone thought hamilton was a "bad nhl defender"- not a quote, i want to be clear on the difference between disappointing expectations and a place on the bell curve relative to his peers- I'd suggest watching more games involving two neutral teams. We're spoiled for having a legitimately great defense this year. Stinks we're two top 6 guys away from sniffing a playoff spot
