This will be an interesting game to watch as far as adjustments are concerned. The issue that I believe that the Canes had against Edmonton was that they fell into the trap of playing the Oilers' style of hockey, rather than dictating their own terms. Because the Canes lack true mega-superstars like Matthews or McDrai in their forward group, this IMO is not a team that does all that well in high-scoring/low-defense contests. Will the Canes go back to their game against the Flames?

To be honest, I think Necas has been on the point, so he replaced TiVo from the power play. Either way, Rod has been playing with the PP and the losers are Jarvis and TiVo. Neither have been particularly impressive 5 on 5, let’s hope that this game gets the top line back on the scoreboard…..

This is what Edmonton does to teams tho. With their speed, and high end octane offense, they force you into a run-n-gun style of a game. They did this vs us in the playoffs last season, and we see how that went....
So don't get completely drained of hope. It's just the McDavid effect, we've been battling that for years now lol
