Nah, we don’t want him in the box. We want him playing as much as possible — he is dogshit. He is Ryan Reaves on defense if Reaves was smaller and a worse fighter.

Reminds me of Nick Backstrom chirping that dude, I think from VGK, telling him "you're terrible, stay on the ice".

For the long run that would be great to finish in 5 and if possible to get a 3+ goals lead somewhere in the 2nd part of the game so we can play Alexeyev more (to rest the others guys)

I know he won't be trusted to play 18+ but at least somewhere around 14-15 that would be already good for the others. If he continues to play less than 10 minutes it ain't good.

im more puzzled by how someone can cry so much over a hockey game. i understand the idea of being a fan, even a loyal one, but we're talking about a game where millionaires skate around and hit a puck towards a goal with a stick. if your team wins, that's great, but if they lose, think about how much influence you actually have over it, and find a better reason to cry like a little girl and compulsively spam posts on a message board. i might not be the biggest forum veteran, but in this regard, montreal fans are absolutely the worst kind - a mix between the know-it-all kid in class that nobody likes and an emotionally unstable teenager who just got dumped. i hope we beat them quickly, if only for the reactions alone lol

Game 5 is Wednesday night in Washington, with the chance the home team and top seed in the Eastern Conference gets valuable forward Aliaksei Protas back after missing the past three weeks with a skate cut to his left foot.

"He's right there," Carbery said. "He's full practice. He's ready to roll. We'll see if he gets into Game 5."

Its strange how Carbs acts like Big Pro playing is just some random thing, not something he controls.

Interpreted as he's less than 100%. If Wednesday was game 7 he's in the lineup. 'Tis the spoils of 2 game lead going into a home game.

We are slowly dismantling the Slabs defense one by one. This is the easiest way to win a cup, random hockey luck and smoking hot G aside. Ovi and Willy in our top 6 aren't going to lead us to a cup playing a finesse game. Ain't happening. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

We already got them to sit Struble for Xhekaj for game 3. We knocked out Carrier in game 4. Cole's little brother is next. Its unleash the fury 2025 edition.

It's been a theme - a ton of shit is getting deleted on the main board if it is not in the Habs favor lol.
I mean we all respond to trolls at our own risk of getting caught up the sweep of the Mod sword.

Just report them. More often than not, those get addressed. But if you do respond, toe the rules line, get your shots in, and hope they get seen before deletion lol….

I don't follow the media for other teams, but how often to Cup winning teams complain about the reffing these days?

In the past you'd get some gamesmanship and "working the refs" and that was considered pretty normal. It was expected. But I don't think the league is like that anymore.

The teams doing the most complaining now are getting distracted, and are giving themselves excuses to lose.

Totally right and no fanbase understands this better than us because we were guilty of it for years before 2018

Not sure if we out right called out the refs but wasn't it reported that Backstrom said something along the lines of "F this league" during the Pens series of the cup run? Want to say it was around the Wilson suspension maybe?
