Sounds like Xhekaj is in tonight for MTL.
i'm sure the refs will take note and call a lot of penalties now, get ready for more PP's (for both teams) and 4v4 action
can't wait to see the AI images from hfboards

This is like setting down the cheese on the trap, and seeing Montreal come to take the bait almost immediately lol.
Uh, phrasing? With the series going back to Montreal, Habs fans are completely focused on being physically dominated. First they wanted the Refs to save them, now they think Xhekaj is going to magically make the Caps stop bullying them. The media keeps poking MSL in his press conferences about the Habs being pushed around. It seems like the Caps physical game has become a preoccupation with the entire city of Montreal.
Bell Centre is going to be a hard place to play. The fans are definitely going to give the Canadiens a boost, but it's a knife that cuts both ways. The media there is just as hard on the team as Toronto media and the fans have unrealistic expectations. It's possible that the energy from the fans spurs the Habs to victory, but I think it's just as likely that they collapse under the pressure and scrutiny. The next 2 games could potentially have a lopsided scoresheet.
Damn that soul crushing Montreal pressure cooker…..Did anyone else see Slafkovsky's post game interview? Kid looks like he's fighting back tears. We need to go in and get a few early goals, drive the stake through their hearts, because he looks ready to wilt.

Good ol' DALL·E 3Ovie loves Bell Centre, even if they spell it wrong, he feeds off that stuff. I wanna see him crush the Canadians, see them driven before him as he scores 2 more, and to hear the lamentations of their mothers.
holy hell...
Very true but if they can't learn to clear pucks safely they never will. They make it harder than it is and it can be frustrating.Perspective....
Round 1 in 2018 looked pretty ugly right through until Eller scored the OT winner in Game 3.
