Prospect Info: Caps Top Prospects General Discussion Thread - 2024

Since Leonard's slow start that had some worried, he's put up 7 G+4 A in the past 5 games with 30 SOG. BC is 4-1 in those games; Leonard has 4 GWG. (And all 4 came while the game was tied.)
And he's putting up those numbers despite having a linemate with a <3% shooting percentage and BC having a terrible PP that's ranked in the bottom third of NCAA DI (although it looked good in their 1 opportunity last night). Neither of those are going to stay that bad/unlucky through the season.
There's a good argument that the Caps have the best player (not necessarily the best prospect, just the player you'd take for a game today) in both the CHL and the NCAA.

If he doesn't make the squad this year I'm convinced someone from team Canada has a personal vendetta against him. I mean at absolute worth he's the extra forward one would think.
