Prefer picks and for the Sharks to rebuild, but assuming we don’t do that I’d take this deal.

Hill/Samsonov gives us two youngish goalies that have the potential to find their game and be good. If not oh well, we get a better draft pick instead which would be useful for this team.

Caps are not trading Samsonov for Reimer. This is just silly.

And if they did, San Jose would need to add.

Come on, you keep going at weird proposals. Right now ill rather play Vanecek over both, Sammy or Reimer. So why do this?

And Samsonov should still have more value than Reimer, so adding from our side just doesnt feel right. Personally I wouldnt do this 1 for 1.
