I don't mind it. It's free depth in a position where we really aren't that deep. Even better if it's 2 years instead of 1 and the AAV stays close to ~1.Bear is a free agent. Don’t need to trade for him. I still don’t get where he fits. And we still have a pretty crowded 23 man roster with Pacioretty returning too.
Johansen is a goner, is AA getting waived too? NAK back to Hershey? Trade Milano before his chia pet night?? Jensen for a pick?
What spots do they even have for both Bear and Pacioretty?
definitely would do the trade but seriously doubt the wild would. Kaprizov is already better then what most of the caps prospects "might " become. Not saying spending future assets is the right idea but if the caps want Kaprizov it will be really expensive. Do you think any of the bolded really moves the needle in any way. I would be pissed if I were a wild fan.Yeah, we may like McMichael and Lapierre but let's not act like their value is sky-high around the league. They may become potential top-6 players one day but if we're talking Kaprizov? You are likely looking at trading one of those, plus high upcoming picks on top of Leonard.
Kaprizov is apparently playing injured so why would the Wild sell him low now? He's signed through eternity and he doesn't even have trade protection so he couldn't bring his trade value down by requesting a trade and ruling out teams. You'd be looking at a huge bidding war and a sky-high price for one of the best wingers in the game.
I wish, though. Put Jensen, 2024 1st, Lapierre, McMichael all in the deal and if the Wild take the bait i'd drive all of them to the airport myself.
This is insanity. We aren’t trading all of that (minus Jensen), for anyone, unless his last name starts with Bedard, and he isn’t available.Yeah, we may like McMichael and Lapierre but let's not act like their value is sky-high around the league. No chance.definitely would do the trade but seriously doubt the wild would. Kaprizov is already better then what most of the caps prospects "might " become. over a 3 year span vrana is 15th in the entire nhl in 5v5 g/60.Wilson and Vrana have just about the same salary. Wilson is on a 30g pace and Vrana is on an 8g pace. For whatever reason.
Are we complaining about TW's contract (despite him being 2nd on the team in points and goals) but we want a guy who's shooting under 5% this year?
I liked Vrana but there is something still off with him. If they take a chance they'd better have a plan B.

would be ridiculous to not claim him when we desperately need offense
