K’andre Miller has been playing hockey as a defenseman for like 5 years, he’ll be fine
Take a breath folks lol
If this happens next season, will you substitute 6 for 5?

I can’t believe Quinn didn’t fight Wilson too!!
are you people serious?
He also needs to not be so soft. Can't coach that. Watched him just skate away while a Caps player was standing over Igor.
I missed it but someone mentioned Miller skating away too like nothing happened. I get being a bit passive, but c'mon you don't need to punch or facewash, but at least push the guy off or hug them and pull them away. Comes off as weak and timid.Another moment that pissed me off was later in the game that was already lost after Shesty makes and save and holds for the whistle, Hathaway gets essentially on top of him and stays there. No one comes near...I believe at least Jones was in the vicinity. (but I'll give him a pass for now)
Top to bottom the Caps team know they can all chase us around the rink, part 2 coming up lol

Quinn needs to pull a Torts, line brawl to start the game. Call up guys from Hartford, whatever it takes. We can't stand for this if Wilson isn't suspended next game.
Here ya goDid any of the so called journalists that cover this team ask Laviolette about the Wilson incident or did they just forget?
Yah considering most NHL players are playing their position far longer than thatIf this happens next season, will you substitute 6 for 5?
Sean Avery types that can play and mix it up. The night Carcillo went after Gaborik, Avery made sure to threaten that team to a point where he said he would end Giroux. He also answered the bell. You need guys like that. Can’t have the youngest team in hockey and expect not to be abused nightly. Management welcomes it, and they obviously didn’t prioritize being a tougher team to play against nightly, whether it be with physicality or will.
But this is the problem with the thinking "bad thing happened once let's address it". That Carcillo fight happened with Avery there and it potentially cost us a 40 goal player because the team panicked and drafted McIlrath.
What does that have to do with being spineless and passive? I can see if the argument is about positioning and improving other aspects of the game, but being a passive player is something that is more of a personality trait than an ability. No doubt his basic game will get better, but I have serious doubts about his physicality since that is about mindset and not skill. He is a rookie who came STRAIGHT FROM THE NCAA.
Teams need an enforcer. I don't mean a goon but a player that will have the player's backs.
I know many say it is no longer needed but I say BS ...yes it is.
You don't draft guys like that in the first round but you have to find them someway.
Honestly this is probably an overreaction but I would draft a center in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th round and try to find Ryan Reaves/Ross Johnston type players in the 5th, 6th and 7th.
to this day the very mention of Bobby Clarke sends the Flyers over the boards in search of violence. Kinda a far cry from Buch arguing after being punched while defenseless on the floor. My gosh lol
Grit? who says that's a thing of the past? Just ask the Lightning who got swept by Columbus in four straight games to open the PO's two years ago because they were man handled after posting one of the best records in the regular season. They added Coleman, Goodrow, Maroon and Schenn. Players that add some grit and toughness to a good group of skilled players and they won the cup. You can't have one without the other. Enough said.
The present Flyers are in no way like their predecessors.
Right. Nothing will deter him but somebody on our roster needs to cheap shot him or Backstrom or Ovi.
