I don't think he sucks. He just needs to drive the net and take some shots instead of always looking to pass the puck.
If he goes to the net, his size will create havoc for opposing d-men.
Exactly. He doesn't seem to be fully engaged.
What I like about the Caps, they are having a better puck possession in this game then the previous preseason games.
Powerplay still absolutely dreadful
PP2 looks absolutely lost on each of their shifts. Orlov being the left circle gunner as a left shot also ruined the one chance they generated. Couldn’t one time it across his body.Powerplay still absolutely dreadful
Both of their broadcasters have had a fair bit of word salad tonight.Serious question for those watching on NHLN: did Jack Edwards have a stroke or some other neuro issue? He sounds very slow and slurry.
ETA: Like a hockey Harry Caray, but 3 or 4 decades younger.
Good shift for him a moment ago. A hit too! Would love for him to be more physical. This is what a lot of Red Wing fans were warning us about too. Hope that changes.
I was wondering the same. Not sure.Serious question for those watching on NHLN: did Jack Edwards have a stroke or some other neuro issue? He sounds very slow and slurry.

Sharp isn’t the word I’d use. He looks stronger, for sure. Made a couple big pad saves throwing out his legs. But he’s having some issue with puck tracking, even on a couple of the saves he’s made he hasn’t been sure where the puck is. And obviously the incident that led to Boston’s 2nd goal. By no means am I saying he’s been bad tonight, but he’s definitely still getting into rhythm.VV looks sharp.
He looks good to me tonight. And i always appreciate the guys who are going as hard they can. Good give—f*** level. Some good stick-to-itivness by Kempny that last shift.

Not holding my breath. Refs almost never do it, even when blatantly obviousShould be 5 on 3
Missed it. Good clean hit? Or controversial?I hope for a replay of Wilson's hit
Skating beautifully, playing with confidenceJensen has been really active in the offensive zone tonight.
