the movies use strong soundtracks combined with a psychotic stalker as main character in de niro.

i watched cape fear a few days ago for the first time, i liked it very well, especially the lawyers family that was far from perfect too, made the movie authentic. however the fan takes this for me...maybe because i am biased as a sports guy, the main thing i remember about this movie is that it lets you dive in that gameday feeling and i remember that i actually rooted for gil(de niro)at the start, hoped that he gets his life together... the end was a bit boring and predictable though while cape fear maintained a high "excitement level" for the most part.

i wonder about other peoples opinions

Watched The Fan in the theater as a kid and maybe a couple scenes again on cable repeats. As a sports fan, I think a few things were just too implausible for me that made me not enjoy the film.

I liked the Fan.

There's a Patton Oswalt movie that's sort of similar and pretty good as well.
