Cap Questions...

I’m not great on staying up to date in our current cap space with the daily paper roster moves of contracts between the Leafs vs Marlies.

I do know we must be saving $$$ on:
Campbell on LTIR for Hutch
Simmons on LTIR for a minimum contract.

Can someone post a summary or share helpful links. I’m also trying to project if we can take on Salary at the trade deadline.

We won't accrue any space for the deadline until we get out of LTIR. Note we don't save any cap space being in LTIR. LTIR only forgives our excess.

As of now we're tracking to have $130k AAV to spend at the deadline (A current AAV credit of $30k we've accrued before going into LTIR, I think), per Capfriendly. This means we could run $81,630,000 cap hit down the stretch after the deadline. I think this is assuming we're using LTIR for the remainder of the season, which we won't.

I don’t understand it either. I know we were buzzin along nicely gaining cap space every off day until the injuries happened.
