Terrible start for Silovs but he's young and will rebound given some time in the AHL. Last year's team was way better at defending the rush and defending the crease compared to what he's seeing this year.

Last April I posted that I thought Silovs was too inconsistent to be relied upon to be the backup in Vancouver this season.

He made me eat my words and issue an apology with his play in the playoffs.

…but he’s now 23 YO and in his 4th pro season and he’s still so up and down.

I’d rather have only a moderately high ceiling with a backup (but you know what you get game in and game out) rather than a high ceiling but no consistency.

I’m a little worried about Silovs future.
He still has some time but it would be running out faster if we had anyone even remotely decent that we were grooming in the minors.

Please Mr Silovs, make me eat my words yet again.

Rebound to what though? A guy who has only been able to put up a .908% in the AHL?

He could rebound to being a backup you can play in the NHL. He's a better goalie than what he's shown this season. He's clearly struggling right now.
