Most of us hate how this team has turned out, and rightly so. Because they aren't good enough. And there are so many NTCs that an escape plan isn't even feasable right now.

No NHL team should have a shooting % as low as we do. It's unfathomable.

We're making backup goalies look like ****ing Patrick Roy every night and our defense is a complete trainwreck. The regression from several core players who recently received paydays (Edler, Burrows etc.) is nothing short of disturbing. And the few prospects we have that look like blue-chippers won't be ready for a few more seasons at least.

It is not looking good for this franchise. A far cry from the 2010/11 team, indeed.

We were doomed the moment we traded Schneider. It's now an average team with average to poor goaltending rather than an average team with very good goaltending.

At least with the latter we had a chance this year...

No, we wouldn't be any different with Schneider in the net - which is why moving him was the right decision. If only we got an NHL player though.
