Pettersson is so hilariously overrated. Forget about his age. Forget about flashes of potential you may have seen 5 years ago. He’s paid 11.6M (!), being mopey and disappearing for a month shouldn’t be in his profile. You should expect PPG++ with that price tag too. And a leader that drives his team, not just be a sad faced passenger.

Petterson for Fox+?

VAN should not do this, it would be similar to SJS trading for Karlsson while having Burns. Fox s impact will decrease by not playing PP1, and Hughes will have less offensive impact / starts.

Similar things were Said about Eichel. Sometimes, it s more about the Environment than the player himself …

Hah. Not by me. Eichel was a more complete player than Matthews even in his Buffalo days and I stand by that. It’s not the same story for Pettersson though. And Pettersson has had nowhere near as dire of an environment than Buffalo. So banking on some Eichel like resurgence? Yeh not happening.

Their original offer was Necas, Kotkaniemi, significant prospect rumored to be Scott Morrow or Felix Unger Sorum, and a 1st, and it almost worked. If the Canes are bold, they'll offer it again even with Necas's amazing start to the year.
So Necas, a buyout bait, a meh prospect and a late 1st for a star 1c? How does that help Vancouver at all?

I'm pretty sure The Nucks are looking for a hockey trade and hope not to miss a beat, not a quality for quantity type thing to throw a white flag on their season.

Would Carolina swap Nikishin for Pete 1 for 1? Personally I think Pete is worth more but I’m curious if Carolina fans would.

Allvin saying Petey “could and should be” a number 1 Center. Implies and admits that he’s not, no?

No interest in Miller.

Dream on, Dahlin's not going anywhere.
Fair and Fair.

But Miller intensity and a true #1 Center for Buffalo would be huge for that team.
The locker room shit is overrated, media in Vancouver just makes things worse than they are.

"Sir Allvin, would you like some poop with your tea?"
But surprisingly it seems he was good for them.

Where there's smoke there's fire. So there's something going on there and Miller seems to be a part of it. It's not that I'm against Miller as a player, of course he would help us a lot in that regard, but I don't want to risk getting some kind of cancer in the locker room by trading two good young players for a 31/32 year old guy.

Fair enough, but how often do 100 Point Power forward Centers become available on the Market?

Especially ones coming off such a great playoffs, he carried the canucks

In a world where the blues are willing to move Kyrou, whats the plus on that?

Same age, lower caphit, pretty solidly a 70 point player who has shown glimpses of more. I think the plus would be pretty big, but just curious what that would be

(robert thomas a nonstarter)
