I wonder if John Gibson will be in goal for the Ducks tonight.

A couple of years ago he wrote an article for the Players Tribune about the 5 players who gave him the toughest challenge. One of the 5 he talked about was Petey. He said that EP40 had a target to shoot at - the space between the goalie's ear and his shoulder. That pretty much describes Petey's 1st goal on Monday night against Soros.

It will be surprising if this game is anything other than 5-1 with a 45-18 shot differential or some such.

Anaheim are the worst team in the league by a mile and only quality goaltending is keeping them from an all-time terrible record.

My predictions for the last 3 games have been wrong..The Canucks have been winning with only 2 legit NHL D men, and knocked off some good teams..It would be a very Canuck thing for them to lose against the crappy Ducks tonight, but realistically, highly unlikely.

I was sceptical of Rick Tocchet when he was hired ,but I have to give him a high grade for getting the most out of what he has to work with....and getting our elite guys playing to a higher level.
