Wow, didn't know Malik actually suited up for the Canucks. Mad dangles must've been made.
I thought it was a mistake to let Jovo walk but he didn't do much after he left. Ohlund's eye injury really set him back. Salo was Salo. Hard for me to say which I prefer.2013

Wait...you didn't? For real? I think we traded Langdon for him...maybe it was Lachance...maybe it was both. Let me check.
LOL screwed it up...we got Langdon with him for Druken and Hlavac (totally forgot about him). Not sure we ever had Lachance haha...no wait, we did. I didn't screw that up.
All I remember was he beasted +/-
Sopel and Malik had no business being that high in our system, They should've been the bottom 2 on the team IMO, I personally like the D core we have now better, especially with Edler and Hamhuis, they're gamebreakers and I don't think Jovo and Ohlund we're that, and if they were they weren't consistent gamebreakers.

I don't know if I would go so far as dubbing them gamebreakers....
to me, Weber, Chara, Lidstrom, Pronger, Karlsson & Byf (offensively), Doughty, Pietrangelo, maybe OEL are gamebreakers.
Edler and Hamhuis are really good D men. Esp Hamhuis.

Edler the guy who had 49 points while playing fairly solid defensive hockey isn't a game breaker but OEL who had 32 points and nearly disappeared in the playoffs offensively might be?
If this was 3 or 4 years into the future I guess...
I feel old
I liked Malik. Let him go too early.

It was fun era to be a fan of the canucks, even if the team had holes.
That did make me feel old and I've only been watching hockey since '03.
