Rumor: Canucks are trading for Timo Meier

It is rumoured that "Your Vancouver Canucks" (actually owned by FA) have some "Unfinished Business" and are a likely intermediary in the Sharks- Devils trade and may be retaining salary for a draft pick or (?) to allow the Devils to maintain cap flexibility for another Devils trade.

So does that mean that Meiers will someday be a member of the Canucks Alumni?
