I figured it out. Petey has actually hatched a brilliant plan. He's teaching the team to win without him - to elevate their game to a new level, then he will turn it on when the team reaches a certain level. Absolutely brilliant!! I was worried for a bit there.

Ignoring the card, there is truth to your statement. Management has little patience for those that aren't able to pull the team in the right direction. Tocchet's pre-game comments called Junior Pettersson the 5th defencemen and the 6th spot will be up for competition. Pettersson was the 7th defenceman today but Soucy played just under 12 minutes.

At this stage, I wouldn't be surprised if they move him by the deadline. I still suspect that more of an off-season trade.

Also didn't seem like Petterson was on the ice in OT. Thought you could see him notice he wasn't moving his feet at times through the game and then start moving, makes such a difference. Needs to get a ton quicker still though.

He's too slow and his stride is too awful to play in 3on3 farce OT.

I could be wrong, but I feel like Forbort is the one dude on the team who took the Jeannot-Boeser hit personally. He fought Jeannot last game and then lays a big hit on Kopitar in this game.
