Can't place "OUT" Players on IR? (Yahoo)

I have JT Miller who will be out up to 14 days apparently because he had close contact with Benn who tested positive for COVID. Yahoo really isn't going to allow me to place him on the IR to free up a roster spot?? Or am i doing something wrong?

Unless the team puts him on IR, which I don't know if they will for covid related stuff, you won't be able to either. If your league has an IR+ position, you could use that, but I suspect you don't because you are asking. Not sure if the commish can add that position at this point, but it could be on the agenda for your league for next year.
