Cannonfest 2013

Just in case anyone hasn't heard: Cannonfest is changing venues this year to the BW3 on Bethel Rd. The BW3 on Fifth Ave was bursting at the seams last year, so this change to a larger location will definitely help get more folks inside. The event is on Aug 18th from 1-4pm.

I plan on doing a very basic live stream, so anyone that can't attend can at least see the happenings and share in the awesomeness. My wife is very pregnant at the moment (due Aug 23rd), so barring her being in labor, I'll be there and will have the stream going. I confess to having been on a Switchfoot kick of late (after seeing them in concert about 6 weeks back) and in my multiple playlist listens have been wondering what tuneage you might have considered for this year. (No, I'm not asking for a hint - just admitting I have a problem.)

Our first was due August 23 of last year! Which I was hoping for because that's my brother's birthday. Little girl arrived August 31st, despite our efforts on the 22nd when we went out dancing to try to shake her loose Aug. 31 was cool too because it was a blue moon. Congrats!

Twenty One Pilots makes me feel old. I used to work with the drummer so I went to their sold out show at the Newport a year or so ago. It was all 14 year olds and they knew all the words to every song.

I'm not a fan of their music, but I'm a fan of their drummer Josh Dunn. I can't think of anyone more dedicated, humble, and deserving to get to live out their dreams of playing music.
