Also lots of swirl that Skyler Brind'Amour could be following not too far behind when he's able to sign in August
I think the whole reason they signed him was because none of the goalies we drafted recently have really taken the next step in their games. One appears to not even be playing hockey anymore (Naumov). But college goalies are even more voodoo than junior goalies since they play less games and usually play behind more defensively structured teams. With Makiniemi dealt to San Jose and Kochetkov moving up to Raleigh, there’s an opening for an AHL goalie here. Makes sense as a UFA destination.
Yes, you can just claim you edited a 5 year old post because of a misspelling. My opinion: This guy will be a surefire NHL’er.
My opinion: This guy won’t amount to much.
I’ll come back later to delete one of these and say I told you so.

VasilevskyWho is this guy comparable to stylistically?
Make a ******* spoonerism!Perets is an anagram for Peters.
He'll see a lot of shots and not allow any goals like any goalie a Peters team plays?Perets is an anagram for Peters.
Also I bet all the Quinnipiac players know Rod pretty well at this point.Wow. This was a really high profile get. Probably won't amount to an NHL player, but you take that flyer any day of the week. The past few years I've thought the Canes were a perfect destination for goalies, and maybe Perets felt the same way.
