The choice was playing a pretty good team with an AHL goalie (Florida) or playing a meh team with the best goalie in the world (Isles). Pros and cons to both. But this series is definitely stealable by the Isles given our recent inability to score even on bad goalies.

Won't/can't make a prediction other than that I think we can/should beat the Isles as we play a similar game to them but are the better team. That said, it won't be easy. But I like the matchup more than Florida or NYR.

Im expecting we get all of the crappy times and daysfor TV. This matchup will be towards the bottom for excitement as we both play tight styles.

Boston will likely drop 25 goals in a 4 game series against that defense and goalie group for florida.

Tampa vs Toronto and NJ vs Rangers will get the better tv times due to draw.

I think the producers definitely wanted nj vs rangers instead of us vs rangers

Think Cory Lavalette was pointing out on Twitter there are some events during some times when games would likely have been played in UBS under certain scenarios. So, it's not just what days and times they want to give, but also what they can give.

We have eliminated the isles what 3 times since 2019? We are their Bruins, without the dirty, shitty trash fans and style of play. We are vulnerable and they have the ability to shut down what little offense we have. This was probably our best match up, since the pens didn't make it. I have no desire to play dirty intentional injury florida. I'd take the over on BOS coming out of that series with at least one injury, and I'll be shocked if it isn't Gudas that causes it.
