2nd thought: mehmen, is after all the way all sports leagues are going. No big deal.

Absolutely hate this. Whoring out to corporations at its finest. Sad day to see this iconic jersey smeared with a completely unnecessary corporate sponsor done purely to line Molson's pocket.

I mean there's ads everywhere already. Also, I know it doesn't work like that, but I can 100% assure you that I've never bought anything, or subscribed to anything, being influenced by seeing it in a hockey arena. The rink is plenty enough space to put ads.

It's getting a lot of bad flak on sports talk shows. I own a lot of Royal Bank shares, so to me it is cool

Same here. Laval has a yellow St-Hubert ad on their red and white jerseys since they came into the AHL. You don't notice it during the games. When they announced ads on the helmets, people were up in arms. You don't notice those either. This will be the same. I won't even notice it when they play.

Also, whatever makes the league more money so the cap can go higher quicker and we can have Hughes work with more flexibility.

Also worst possible colour choices. Other ones seem like they blend in a bit with the jersey. Blue and yellow?
