Andrew Wiggins will not play for Canada at the Paris Olympics. The Golden State Warriors are reportedly trying to move the veteran and will not let him play as they fear a injury will hurt his trade value.

FIFA has a lot of power to prevent clubs from holding their players hostage. Clubs are obliged to release players for major international competition. FIBA should do the same with the NBA.

It's medal or bust for me. That might be excessive but Canada should be at least in medal contention. Of course I expect that reality will set in after a game or two but expectations should be set high.
