Though I'm a Torontonian, it's becoming hard to pull for Team Canada. The gushing for every player, after they make a pass or a hit(from team Canada), is embarrassing. I'm talking about Pierre McGuire, the TSN color analyst. He's describing the game like there is only 1 team playing out there. If you watch the American coverage of the American Juniors, the TV coverage is much less "homer" than the Canadian...they actually talk about the other team and don't gush all over "THEIR players". Also, don't crown the Canadians as gold medal winners yet. The Americans are very good. They have great team speed, excellant skill levels and work tirelessly all game. I'm a little conserned about Montoya. He has played average/to below average at Michigan this year and so far in the WJT. I'm sure if the other Gold medal contenders watched a Canada gave with the TSN announcers, they would roll their eyes because of the unbelievable homerism.
