It’s been an expectedly good tourney. 90% of these guys have never gotten the chance at a best on best wearing their countries jersey, I never understood anyone thinking this wouldn’t be intense. They’d all run through a wall to beat the other team.

Seems like when it's an NHL game with dozens of contracts on the team , players coming in and out , and a salary cap its just business as usual.

This is clearly personal. We really needed best on best back like this.

NHL knocked it out of the park. Amazing tourney and incredible 20 minutes, way better than whatever NBA is doing in their All star weekend.

Crazy that Canada with so much talent and passion for the sport, can't ice a better goalie/blueline.

In terms of defense, there were better players maybe available but left off. Pietrangelo also declined to play.

Theodore and Makar both injured right now.

Bouchard, Dobson, Rielly, Nurse, Ekblad all could have been good options as well.

THIS IS THE KIND OF HOCKEY that I miss from the NHL. Players allowed to make hard hits, a few fights and players as well as the fans really getting passionate and hyped and into the game because there's some actual dislike between teams and their fans. That's what's missing for me in today's NHL where they won't let the players play and allow them to settle things on the ice rather than calling tons of penalties or handing out suspensions every hard hit.
