it's unrealistic to even expect a Stanley Cup Finals to have this many top players all playing at once. I think what it really shows is how much we missed best on best international hockey and how much higher the level is than the NHL will ever be.

for sure, 2010 was the best game of hockey ive ever watched in my lifetime and its a damn shame we’ve been deprived of this for a decade.

even in the playoffs, i miss the level of how stacked teams were in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. we need teams on the level of the red wings and avs back if we want that level of hockey and rivalry back.

Feel like the playoffs are amazing. Some years there is more hatred than others. This is the ultimate combination of talent and hatred. It’s unique.

Crazy that Canada with so much talent and passion for the sport, can't ice a better goalie/blueline.

We can. We chose not to bring better goalies....and our defense is ravaged by injuries/illness.
