In a post game interview Ducharme was asked about his starting goalie vs Slovakia and said that no decision had been made. Leads me to believe that the goaltending is not being handled based on a set schedule, which I would agree with.

Hart didn't have a good game. I'm sure he would much rather not start a goaltending controversy after a win against Russia one game into the tournament. Ingram will have to show he's up to the task if he wants the net.

The way the schedule lines up this year for Canada is a bit limiting. Either Hart gets all the games or Ingram goes in for this one and you go back to Hart for Latvia (or you just stick with Ingram going forward). It won't be Hart for this one and then a four day break before he plays the US. That's for damn sure!

Ingram will shock the country if he gets the start.. he is damn good and can very well take the number 1 role.

Many people(myself included) feel he is a better goalie in the WHL than Hart

Even last season many people felt he was the best goalie in the WHL.

I have day off tomorrow so I will record it and I will watch at the morning. No need to interupt my sleep for this one. I am looking forward to Ruzicka, Milos Roman, Fehervary, Bodak, Studenic. Most of them I never saw in ice hockey game. The result is no important. Please be gentle canadians  7:3 for Canada. Bondra 2, Ruzicka.

I think you have to get both goalies into the tournament. And then decide who is the hotter ATM. If this is Ingram you put him in. If this is Hart you play him. Players have to be confident in the netminding, or it can ripple throughout the lineup. I would agree on the premise you have to play both, and then decide who you want for the elimination rd. Its a short tourney. Not much time to decide.

Same, as long as the kids show some skill i'll be happy. Our goalies should be theoretically decent so hopefully Canada doesn't net 7 against us.

Maybe this might not be the right tread to post this, but I absolutely HATE that new nike commercial. It's so annoying

On a more important note, I'd like to see how Milos Roman does in this game. I hear is pretty good.

GO CANADA GO :yo:

Lets see what Ingram has got, we need someone to make saves.

I don't like our chances against The Swedes or U.S without it.
