Canada will dominate us all the game except maybe 2nd half of the 3rd period, but Samsonov allows only 4 goals for canadians. Final score is something like 5-2 (last one is emptyneter). Then we'll meet in finals and that game will be much tougher and closer.

Stupid game time, 2 AM.

ya, I'm not too fond of the 8 pm EST start either...but anyway, it's the most wonderful time of the year. 3 games, lots of turkey sandwiches and a beer cooler well stocked...I'll endure the hour's delay to puck drop at the ACC.

Looking forward to this game as a topper to a quality day of hockey - four World Junior games plus Canada at the Spengler Cup, replete with Alexander Keith's finest, pulled chicken sliders, cabbage rolls and rolled steak. Not so sure about Russia other than what I saw in the super series, which is often misleading. I expect Barzal to be Canada's best player today.

JackSlater livin large. digging the menu.

I can go for a few of those pulled pork sliders and a Canada win.

Canada's nothing special this year. I expect a win.

Don't get why people are saying this...sure Canada does not have a Connor McDavid but they are still loaded with first round talent throughout their lineup. Really fast team that is deep throughout, and the best goaltending Canada has seen for a while.
