Canada in the last couple of games has looked like the team I expected before the tournament.

The empty seats are embarrassing. First I'm really watching but Canada is playing a very similar style to the Men's team. Constant pressure and always covering for one another.

Not really dangerous chances yet but I controlling the play. Would be nice to see a bit more skill in the offensive zone.. Lot of cycles going no where

Canada is not playing inspired hockey. Poor skating, passing and hockey IQ so far. Honestly not sure they have the talent to win gold this year. Hope I'm wrong.

Would you be inspired when you dream of playing in this tournament and no one is watching you?

Sport is equally about the audience and it's energy and emotions as it is the players and athletes playing.

I've also got the impression that the lack of energy from the "crowd" is translating to their performance on the ice.

What was Krenzelok doing on that rush...

has two forwards coming through NZ with speed besides him vs equal number of Canadians... just fire it at a Canadian instead of pass across to Kaše or Spacek.

Would I be wrong to say this tournament peaked in 2009 in Ottawa? At least to me it did.

Said the same thing earlier, peaked around 2005-2010.

The World Juniors is going downhill now.

Canada has experienced it's peak, now it's just pure greed.

But it's growing in Europe, that's where the real fun ones will take place in the future is my take.

Like I said earlier I completely get people being frustrated with the ticket prices and not being happy with Hockey Canada. But I feel really bad for the players.

Bottom line is people in Montreal just don't care enough. 2 minutes of research leads you to Stubhub.
