It's Thursday, February 12. Including today since its right after midnight there is 19 days until the deadline has past & honestly the biggest block buster trade has already taken place.

With that being said, how do you think the final standings will wrap up?
*BTW i do not think any division gets both wildcards on either side.

The East
Atlantic: TB, MTL & DET. (Boston wins wildcard but is #2)
TB - looks like the team to beat.
MTL - One Trade Away from serious, i mean serious, contender.
DET - Red Wings are always the Red Wings.
Metro: NYI, PIT & WAS. (Rangers hold onto wildcard #1, battle through King Henry's Injury)
NYI - Not Dumb, have experience, remind me of the 08 Pens right now.
PIT - Bias, won't say anything, but i don't think the pens are serious contenders.
WAS - Holtby is better than ppl think, Trotz can get you to postseason, not sure after that.
*(East is kind of wrapped up in my opinion. Just a position battle now for most teams.)*

The West (Complete Different Story)
Central: STL, NAS & CHI. (Winnipeg, got better with that trade get the first wildcard)
STL - has the experience and the depth will mount a charge to win presidents trophy.
NAS - makes a move or two can compete, but is still a tough out.
CHI - can't be the playoffs without the blackhawks.
Pacific: ANA, CAL & SJS. (Los Angeles, will right the ship and barely make the playoffs as the #8 seed and the second wildcard)
ANA - Solid leadership and cruising to the first place finish.
CAL - Going with my gut here. (remind me of the old PHX Coyote run a few years back, not saying they will make a run but they seem to be playing over their heads in the pacific)
SJS - Barely get past a fiery Kings team pushing for that spot, because they want to play the Flames and not ANA.
*(West is so weird right now if ask me. WPG got better, VAN & SJS are struggling, MIN & LAK are not even in the playoffs as of right now, COL has had a major set back & DAL oh boy DAL what happened?)*

Playoff Scenarios for me then
(1) TBL v BOS (4) | (1) NYI v NYR (4)
(2) MTL v DET (3) | (2) PIT v WAS (3)
------------------------------------------
(1) STL v WPG (4) | (1) ANA v LAK (4)
(2) NAS v CHI (3) | (2) CAL v SJS (3)

I attach a photo of the standings for anyone who needs a reference just personal opinions of other fans from other fanbases. How do you think the playoffs will get started in 2015, because god knows I cannot wait.

I'm praying for a Tampa Bay/Nashville final. How awesome would that be? Two thirds of the hockey world would stroke out. It probably wouldn't be televised in Canada.

I will take any non-traditional hockey market final just to see all the pretentious fans show up and be like, "what is this. I didn't know they had fans. LOOLOLOL - I MUST BE THE ONLY ONE TO EVER MAKE THIS JOKE."

Jiminy Crickets, i didn't think people would actually post stanley cup winners already. its super hard to predict when they do start so i do not know how some can make these already. if you are right, i would screen shot your predictions right now...
considering these might not even be the real playoff match ups.

Although i am a follower...
(1) TBL v BOS (4) | (1) NYI v NYR (4)
(2) MTL v DET (3) | (2) PIT v WAS (3)
------------------------------------------
(1) STL v WPG (4) | (1) ANA v LAK (4)
(2) NAS v CHI (3) | (2) CAL v SJS (3)

(2) MTL v BOS (4) | (1) STL v CHI (3)
(2) PIT v NYR (4) | (1) ANA v SJS (3)

(2) MTL v PIT (2) | (1) ANA v CHI (3)

But i do not want to pick, because that is not a stanley cup final i would like to watch...
