Well, that absolutely didn't happen.

Gretzky is 10 years older than Jagr, NOT 20 years older. Jagr was not in his prime at 20. Jagr outproduced Gretzky every year after Gretzky turned like 32 or 33.

I don't know the exact math but I know gretzky was in his 30s and jagr was in his prime.

96-97: Jagr played 63 games that season while Gretzky played 82. And Gretzky beat out Jagr only by a point. Every year Jagr and Gretzky played concurrently, Jagr performed significantly better.

I do like the point you are trying to make, but you just aren't using a very convincing argument.

Did you even watch Gretzky play his final season? He was far from anything special.
