It baffles me how they seem indifferent to her and the eyeballs she's bringing to the league through attendance and viewership.

She gets tossed like a rag doll on the floor, Engelbert downplayed her role in bringing the league to another level, insisting fans want rivalries, not o
Individual players...

Their response to her is utterly baffling to me

Baffling? Not really. I can't afford getting another warning and although I know I could articulate it in a non inflammatory way.. nah. Not risking it.

I guess she wasn't the "league savior" they wanted but she's the one they got. What I find amusing is attempts to drum up her and Angel Reese as Bird vs Magic. I guess in some ways I get it since they met in the NCAA championship game but Clark is the better player and its not close.

Reese is a complete enigmsn to me. How is she on a D1 Roster and a 1st round draft pick. She reminds me of grade 4 students playing basketball ; she's so awkward looking

Sports, in general, just like entertainment, is driven by stars. But they need foils. And fools, as my phone keeps autocorrecting to. Everyone knows who the money is orbiting around.

They're a league that is still not profitable so they're literally trying everything to be relevant even if it makes no sense.

They were saved again by the NBA this year when Silver packaged their rights with the NBA's in order to guarantee them a good deal. Basically forced the networks to take on WNBA games in exchange for NBA games.

It honestly screams jealousy more than anything, feels like a good chunk of those employed by the WNBA are mad they weren’t the ones to bring some relevancy to the league.

I find it incredibly amusing that they keep pushing Angel Reese, and making comparisons to her being the WNBAs Jordan. If Jordan played the same way as Reese he wouldn’t be famous.

This is something else that I can't wrap my head around. Why are they so hellbent on using Angel Reese as thr face of thr league? Because of her social media following?

I can't imagine she's well liked even by her teammates; she's a narcissistic douchebag.
