Why is it better for the Pens to lose? Rags actually have a higher points percentage than them right now and are closer to us for the division (not really concerned about either catching us anyways). Regulation game either way goes without saying.

Honestly that 2nd Metro spot is looking just as good as #1 to me. Not sure I see a clear gap between playing the Rags, Pens, Bruins, or Caps in round one. It's also possible one of Tampa, or Toronto fall into a wildcard spot. Toronto does't concern me, but getting Tampa in round #1 would suck.

Yes, this is true. I'm just thinking that not winning the division wouldn't be the end of the world at this point. Though it would probably mean we limp into the playoffs, would would be bad.
