Equipment: Cage Colour

Hey, I was just wondering what colour cage you guys think would look better with a green helmet white or black with cage hang. Or if you guys have any other recommendations let me know.

Black in my opinion. Not so much on the looks concern, just that it's better for actual vision. My philosophy is to have a black cage as a skater and a white cage as a goalie.

I've also heard a lot of good comments about smoke-colored cages but I've never worn one myself.

Cage hang is pretty stupid if you play any sort of competitive hockey. Double impact on the chin.

But I vote white.

Though some people don't like the chin cup touching the chin, which is what the chin cup is for.

Just get the Bauer RE-AKT cage. It's a titanium smoked flat color, you'll barely notice it since there is no glare.
