So whats the update on Holloway? Nothing?
Last thing I heard was Monty saying he was now stick handling on the ice, but not close to returning. I think that was earlier this week. Nothing but a guess, but I'd think that puts him a minimum of 2 weeks away. He isn't even skating (with speed) as far as we know, let alone taking contact. Again, nothing but a guess, but I feel like he blew out his lower back.

lol.

i’ve got 4 out of six parents between me and my Wife’s family who died of cancer.

my mom took 8 months to die in the hospital. her mom had 3 major operations before she died.

her Dad was in a care facility for decades with early onset alzheimer’s.

us pays more and costs more per person on healthcare than anyone in the world.
#1 cause of bankruptcy, medical bills.

go read some books.
blah blah blah....we were supposed to be joking around until you ruined it. Thanks! Have a great day!

Both teams have some key injuries so I don’t think that’s an excuse for either team.

I think the Jets are just a better version of the blues.

Also funny how Binner who everyone now loves because of 4 nations and rightfully so what a game but was getting slammed for being horrible all tournament

Any chance Blues burn the slide year of ELC on Dvorsky?
Barring any more injuries it is unlikely he will play, he appeared in 2 games this season and it was pretty clear he wasn't ready yet. I think its more beneficial for him to be playing top line minutes in the AHL playoffs. I don't think the Blues are concerned with burning a year though and would dress him if he was needed.

Too much love in this thread

Suck it Blues fans

The Cardinals suck and so does Budweiser!
Time to ramp up the hate.

enjoy those easily refused insurance companies.

go read some books.
I've been both a patient and a provider in both the American and Canadian healthcare systems

Both have their pluses and minuses

I expect Winnipeg to win. I hope they come out of the West, if that's the case.

The Blues are ahead of schedule making the post-season at all, but Holloway being out makes it hard to see 2 lines that can really produce in the post-season. As much as I'm enjoying Snuggerud showing that he's going to be an NHL player and has a big time shot, he is lost a lot of the time and won't be anything close to a substitute for Holloway.

This series is about valuable experience for a young Blues core that is going to rise to contender status as this core matures (a lot of which is still in the AHL).

That said, if Binnington stands on his head (which is entirely capable of) and the Blues win one on the road, I could see the pressure start to mount in Winnipeg's lockerroom, and particularly with Hellebuyck.

I'm hoping for a competitive series. I don't think the Blues are as weak as a typical 8th seed. I think the recent game that ended the 12 game win streak was a poor example of how the Blues have been playing. There were multiple guys out, and they were clearly tired. If Jets fans are using that as the measure of St Louis, I think they'll be disappointed. But Winnipeg has a lot more depth and it just feels like it may be their time to at least get to the WCF. There isn't a team in the Western Playoff bracket where I wouldn't root for the Jets (except obviously for my own Blues).

I know how it goes, as the series goes along there will be ire and some bad blood. But I hope its just that temporary kind that dissipates after the series is over.
