I might just add him as well (i don't think there's that many updates on him in the American Prospects thread).
- of late, Dylan's been the best player on that USNDP U17, especially in the USHL.

I'm a big fan. Skilled, works hard, skates well, good shot, as well. He's under 5'10, so that might play a part on draft day, but I think he could be a first rounder. I wouldn't say its a certainty, but its a possibility.

I think I might've mentioned this before, but he reminds me a lot of Nick Robertson. He probably skates better than Robertson, but so similar in their games.

I think it's going to be really hard to keep this guy out of the first round. He plays so hard for a slightly undersized winger, and offensively he has a very good shot with good puck skills and playmaking.

Duke is just a very consistent difference maker all over the ice. He's always noticeable, and doing something good.

Not often talked about, but we went ahead and did a Deep Dive on Duke's game. It's over 2600 words, so grab a coffee before settling in.

This year, however, Duke has gained strength and filled out his frame noticeably, allowing him to be consistently physical throughout games and make more of an impact in high-leverage minutes like killing penalties. He has also made a notable impression with his high motor and attention to detail in all three zones.

Not sure if you're the one putting these shift-by-shifts together, but if so, I highly appreciate it. That channel has been the #1 free resource for scouting prospects this year, in my opinion.

Thank you! Yes a friend and I run the channel, so if you have a request for a specific player, please feel free to message me! I really appreciate the kind words.

Dylan Duke was one of the top scorers on this year’s US National Team Development Program Under-18 Team. He scored 29 goals and 20 assists for 49 points in 50 games. The Strongsville, Ohio native also played for Team USA at the IIHF Under-18 World Championships. He scored three goals and an assist for four points in five tournament games. The American coaching staff named Duke one of the top three players on the team. Unfortunately, the American team lost in the quarterfinals.

In 2019-20, Duke scored 29 goals and 18 assists for 47 points in 46 games with the NTDP Under-17 team. He also had a short call-up to the Under-18 squad, picking up one assist in six games. Duke helped the US team to a silver medal at the Under-17 World Hockey Challenge. He scored five goals and three assists for eight points in six tournament games.

Duke is committed to playing NCAA Hockey for the University of Michigan Wolverines next season. Should Duke opt to change his mind and go the CHL Route, his rights are owned by the Saginaw Spirit. His father, Steve Duke had a pro career in the AHL and ECHL.
