C Ryan Abraham - Windsor Spitfires, OHL (2022 Undrafted)

It’s unfortunate the guy is small, he’s got speed to burn, really good pucks skills; as good as anyone in the 2022 draft and has an amazing motor on him; gives it his all shift in and out. 2 POTG awards so far for USA’s B team at the Hlinka despite not registering a point.
MAJOR sleeper for the 2022 draft.

He’s a good player at the junior level. As @Leaves34 said, his size will probably make a huge difference with the draft. I’m not sure I’d agree that his offensive game is that great, but I think he’s a player who likely is only held back in a big way by his size. Unfortunately it’s hard to see him being anything other than a late pick.

Never drafted despite a 31 goal season in 2023-24. Doesn't look like he is committed anywhere yet but seems like the ideal candidate for NCAA hockey if he chooses that path.

I think 4 years of the university experience and playing pretty high level hockey is much more appealing than signing pro & riding the bus, potentially going up & down from the A to the Coast, going to places like Wheeling & Greensboro in a sleeper bus making peanuts.

Kid's got a real good heart. He's a battler and has some skill and will do well at Tech in the CCHA. His skating is average and couple that with his size; he would have had a difficult time in the AHL and would have been Coast bound. So yeah, much better for him playing college, earning a degree and having a productive life outside of hockey when he's done.

Nothing wrong with either Wheeling or Greensboro though...both nice towns
