C/RW Sebastian Repo - Pelicans, Liiga (2017, 184th, FLA)

I'm convinced that Repo can make a career in the NHL for himself. Has all the tools in big size, decent skating, great shot, good hands and an attitude that will take you far.

During the playoffs Repo was a ridiculous forechecker, never gave up on a play. Scored 6+1 in 18 games in thd playoffs which gave him a shared number one spot in goals. Some really decent snipes among them.

Even though he did score more points per game during regular season, in the playoffs he finally opened my eyes to see that he has potential to go anywhere. He's stated it himself that he wants to play in the show and this year was a big step towards that for him.

Should be picked during the middle rounds in the draft but will probably fall to later rounds or even go undrafted again (which I highly doubt). I can see him becoming a good depth scoring player in the NHL.

Creates plays, huge winning mentality, forechecks and backchecks hard, throws big hits, isn't afraid to fight for the puck at any cost and has a really good shot as well. Time will tell, but my hopes are high.

Isn't he free to sign ELC with anyone already? I don't think he is draft eligible anymore.

I think players from Europe can be drafted in four different drafts. At least he's -96 born and I'm pretty sure some -95 born russian was drafted last year.

And 1994-born Markus Nutivaara was drafted in 2015.

Per CBA, player under 22 years are eligible if player has not spent at least one season in North America when he has been 18-20 years old and hasn't been drafted before. So this means quite a lot of Europeans including Repo.
