Could not find very much information (nor a thread) for O'Connell and wondering why
The Spartans have been one of the top teams in college hockey and O'Connell is leading the team with eight goals in 16 games.
With respect to the Spartans available in the 2024 NHL Draft, much of the attention (deservedly) is on first-year eligible defenseman Artyom Levshunov, O'Connell is eligible as an overage pick.
As far as the USA U20 team, teammates Trey Augustine (goalie) and Isaac Howard (forward) participated in the summer showcase.
Is there any chance O'Connell is invited to the USA final camp and does he deserve to be there?
