I watched him a bit last year when he was first draft eligible. Extremely streaky and frustrating to watch in Lethbridge, then waived and claimed by Cape Breton in the Q where he played better, but not outstanding. Seemed to coast a lot in the 2-3 games I watched of his. He always seems to do well I’m international play though.

Its strange. On the international level he is an another player.
His numbers in U18 team were very good.
And after famous Hlinka-Gretzky Cup 2021, when Slovakia won silver, he was very good. We thought, he is a sure HL prospect. But WHL and QMJHL leagues are somehow against it.
He could be a late bloomer.

Well exactly a year ago I commented a very similar post but Repcik is having another good tournament. I wasn’t at all surprised he wasn’t drafted but I am still wondering if he will receive an invite to a prospect camp. His numbers aren’t out of the world but he plays a very smart gritty game, to me a better version of Hrivik.

He is a warrior for the national team at every tournament. I guess he will spend most of his career in Europe and hopefully he will continue to be a warrior for us also in the seniors.
