Czech import who will be playing with Everett in the WHL this season. Gut had an impressive showing at the Hlinka tournament last month, as his dazzled with slick moves and explosive skating. He's one of the younger draft-eligible players (August birthday) and has the potential to be a standout player for the Tips.

Playing at a near PPG pace - up to 19 points in 21 games after a 3 point game last night.

Decent size, and good all around skills. I've seen him a couple times this season. I think Novak is a little better, but these Czech imports are doing okay in my books in the WHL. I think Gut's a early 4th rounder, but he could climb.

You think a team is gutsy enough to take him in the first 4 rounds?

Puns aside, I think he has been playing himself into the top 125 with his goal scoring thus far in the new season.

I know it sounds like an incredible hot take, but I see a little bit of Cirelli in Gut: leadership, takes defensive responsibility seriously, scores when given the opportunity.

Seems like the type of player that could really have a breakout D + 1. Question for anyone who watched him consistently did his play get better as the season went along? Being a young import in a league you have never played in can take a while to get aclimatted to.

Season stats: 45 ~ 14+47=61
Late rounds?

Everett has 4 guys (Gut, Jackson Berezowski, Ryan Hofer, and Braden Holt) who are probably going to be drafted this year as overage picks (three of those as double-overagers) which surely will be a record.

Gut is probably the most dynamic of this group and I wouldn't be shocked to see him go as high as the 3rd round.

Gut's auction of his sticks began yesterday. He will return to the Czech next season after undrafted again in this year and hope the good boys can shine in the future.
btw I just realized that the Czech doesn't use the euro as its main currency. So their starting bid is equivalent to how many euros or dollars?
