Unclear about the eligibility rules for players from Europe.

Believe since he was born in April 2000 he is no longer eligible for the NHL Draft. Is that correct?

With seven goals in 22 playoff games he would seem to be an intriguing free agency option for a team in need of scoring.

Yes, too old for the draft, but for him it is also too early for the free agency, as his KHL contract is until the end of 2023/24.

He has never scored more than 12 points in the regular season. Yes, part of it is because he plays for CSKA and his recent play-off production (0,5 PPG) after lineup spots opened up is probably more reflective of his offensive capabilities but that's still like saying Maxim Mamin was called in to bolster Florida's attack.

He might still have some NHL potential as he has size and isn't afraid to play around the crease but he still needs to take a few BIG steps forward to even think around the NHL and even then more so in a bottom-6 role.

Decent regular season and finished +10 but just one assist in the playoffs for CSKA. Safe to say his window for heading to the NHL is closing?
