He was a huge surprise at the championship. Soft hands, great insight into the game, good play maker. It would be nice if a similar player, who did not go through the drafts, became an NHL player. But I would probably like that a lot...

After a rather pedestrian 6 points in 6 games to start the year, Melovsky is finally starting to put up some points in the QMJHL like you would want him to as an overager pick in the 2024 draft. He's 5 + 9 in his last 5 games. It's also refreshing to see him finally putting up some goals.

Torching the Q... when you look at this thread, it's always a 'had a 4 point night' sort of thing. He'll be interesting to follow from a distance. Probably should've been in the A this season.
