Family relations: son of former OHL star and bottom 6 NHL:er Jon Sim (Stars 3rd round, 70th overall pick)
- Jon Sim was an elite scorer in the OHL (Sarnia Sting) | 165 goals, 146 assists in just above 200 games
who had a physical side in him as well, amassing almost 400 penalty minutes
- Later in his career (at 29) got slightly bigger role and scored 17 goals and 35 points in 05-06 season
(Philly&Florida), another 17 goals and 32 points next season for Atlanta
and 22 goals 37 points for the Islanders

I doubt it. He'll probably be a candidate for an overage signing next season though.

Decent player but didn’t really develop much in the 2 years since being drafted.

Some team will invite him to their Prospects Camp and then it’ll be up to him to impress and earn a contract.
