6’4” centreman playing for Moncton. Skating is the first thing you’ll notice about him, in that he isn‘t a very good one. However there are redeeming qualities to his game. He is a very effective net Front pressence and has a very good and heavy shot. He has some power forward qualities to him in that he isn’t afraid of the middle of the ice and doesn’t shy away from contact. His skating may make cause him to go undrafted but he is an intriguing prospect to watch moving forward.

was curious about smith after he ended up reasonably high on CSB's rankings. pretty athletic kid, obviously
he has a lot of room to grow with his skill game and skating - but his age and his willingness to play
that heavy game could get him drafted.

anyone see a bunch of him this year?
