It will be very interesting to see where he goes - most interesting double-OA from the WHL since Brett Leason in 2019. I'd guess 3rd round? But wouldn't be shocked if he slips into the 2nd.

Not the world's prettiest skater but when you're a 6'3 C who has an offensive explosion like this teams will take notice.

Last 2 drafts has went undrafted.

1st draft year was understandable
but why 2021, i have no ide.

He was 1.35 ppg in 21 games last season
for the worst team in the WHL

Led his team in every single category, except penalty minutes
which he had just 5 less what the 1st.

This season, for much improved Red Deer team, been lights out
with about 60 goal (56) 100+ point pace

King & Arshdeep combine the deadliest duo in the WHL this season
#1 and #2 in the WHL scoring, respectfully.

10+11=21 in his last 10 games.

I think he is a keeper and a big sleeper in this years draft.

I agree. A late bloomer and could be a real find.
